Pre-builds, full of excitement and curiosity. This past weekend the dome rose from its slumber is a most appealing fashion as I threw it together to measure out for this year’s cover {hopefully the best one}. A little GoPro timelapse never hurts either. The man burns in 113 days!!!
This weekend played host to an impromptu Burning Man pre-compression of sorts. The fire poi made there long awaited debut after Playa Burn 2011, the dome was resurrected {playa dust covered and all}. What an awesome feeling it was to have it back up and in action, hands painted in Playa dust, and brainstorms of a most epic new cover brewing… video time lapse of its construction?? Coming in hot! Stay tuned sparkleponies and shirtcockers….

The full moon orbited peacefully above us, providing the backlight and extra magic we needed for our creative palates to explode into an evening of artistic creativity. With a simple camera, a few LED lights, and a couple unique ideas, we explored the possibilities of light and dark….and here are the results….
